Saw Good Afterschool Club - Autumn 2025

from £15.00

Afterschool club for ages 7-11

Learn to Sew!

Have fun and learn a new skill!  During this class you will design and make your own key fob and soft characters from fabric and felt.  Through making smaller projects you will learn how to sew by hand, including sewing on buttons and beads, an essential skill to be able to repair clothing in the future and adding applique to create a unique item.  You will learn basic sewing skills including cutting out fabric, seam allowances and working with different types of fabric.  Then, you will design a character inspired by Super heroes, anime characters, your pet, a favourite sports personality or music band.  Your character will be made into a soft sculpture using the sewing skills you have learnt!

End Date: Wednesday 3rd December 2025
