Fitzrovia Advice Service transfers to Fitzrovia Community Centre
Fitzrovia Advice Service service provides free, bilingual benefits, housing, debt and fuel-poverty advice to some of the most vulnerable residents in Camden and Westminster.
The service provides critical support to vulnerable members of our community experiencing financial hardship, insecure housing, disability, language barriers and mental-health challenges. It has operated under Fitzrovia Neighbourhood Association since 1976 and from 1st April 2026 it will be transferred to Fitzrovia Community Centre.
"With one conversation we can save them from breaking point"
We are running an ongoing fundraising campaign to secure the future of this vital service and thanks to our generous donors, we have so far raised over £10K to help us protect the service during the transition to its new home. We have also received a grant from the Camden Resilience Fund. This means we are now in a position to keep the Advice Service running for the next six months. This is all amazing news but we are not out of the woods yet. We are still aiming to raise enough money to keep the advice service going long term. All funds raised will go towards the Advice Workers, set-up costs and infrastructure to ensure the services continues.
